Dogtag (Bunny Intermission)
Dogtag (Bunny Intermission) (Originally titled 'Bunny Boy Intermission Music)[1] is a digital single released by The Residents in 2008, but later credited entirely to Charles Bobuck.
History
Intermission music for The Bunny Boy Tour, this 15-minute single contains remixes of Residents songs associated with (but not always performed on) past tour projects, including "Secret Seed", "Blue Tongues", "Burning Love", "I Hate Heaven", "Whatever Happened To Vileness Fats?", "Make Me Moo" and "Secret Room".
The Residents initially distributed the MP3 file via an Internet link embedded on the back of a dog tag necklace, with the other side decorated with a classic eyeball image. This was first made available on October 7th, 2008.[2] The single was re-released in 2009 through RSD, and then in 2014 as a Charles Bobuck "contraption" under the slightly altered title of 'Dog Tag.'
Minus Blue Rosebuds and Hunk o Love, which The Residents directly lifted from the RMX albums, all samples heard by The Residents were remixed in 2008.
