Not Available (Work in Progress) (subtitled As Prepared by Ralph Records in 1978) is a limited edition white label 7" single containing two suites comprised of excerpts from a work-in-progress version of The Residents' 1978 album Not Available, compiled by Ralph Records in 1978.
The single was released June 9th 2023 alongside early copies of the double LP vinyl pREServed edition of the album sold through the Cherry Red Records website, with a small number of copies sold separately through The Residents' official online store.
As with the four prior limited edition white label singles in the pREServed vinyl series, Not Available (Work in Progress) is housed in a black, unlabelled die cut cardboard sleeve, inside a plastic outer sleeve sealed by a sticker bearing the title and catalog number.
